Episode 4 of WandaVision begins with a flashback of Monica Rambeau, daughter of Maria Rambeau and friend of Captain Marvel, reappears as a grown woman from Thanos’s snap in Avengers: Infinity War. Rambeau, aka Geraldine from Episode 3 finds out her mother Maria died of cancer while she disappeared.
The episode fast forword 3 weeks to the S.W.O.R.D. Headquarters (Sentient Weapon Observation Response Division). Tyler Hayward, S.W.O.R.D. Acting Director, reveals that Maria built the organization from the ground up. Rambeau is sent to Westview where she meets Agent Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and the Wasp. She flies a surveillance helicopter, as seen in Episode 1 to the city and it disappears. She flows it in and also disappears. Dr. Darcy Lewis, from Thor and Thor: the Dark Word is sent to Westview with others to investigate the anomaly.
Bringing Westview Back to the Real World
Lewis, a Doctor of Astrophysics, finds Cosmic Microwave Radiation and figures out she can view what is going on inside the Westview bubble with an old TV. Woo and Lewis try contacting Wanda by radio, but Wanda uses her powers to blow up the radio. Once day in the bubble seems to be the equivalent to one decade. Wanda finds out that Rambeau is from outside the bubble and uses her power to send Rambeau out of the bubble. Vision walks in the room and she sees the dead Vision from Infinity War. When Hayward, Woo, and Lewis find Rambueau, she reveals that the bubble comes from Wanda.
Do we hide from our pain from the past? Wand creates a bubble around herself, so she does not have to deal with the past trauma she has endured. Difficult or negative situations from our past can make us want to block it from memory. Those situations turn into thoughts and memories that we try to forget, as to not deal with them.
